Imagination & Infrastructure: A Monuments Conversation
Rubenstein R-306
Harvard Kennedy School, 79 John F. Kennedy St.

How do we imagine the relationship between public symbols and systems? In a moment of global flux and civic questioning, this conversation considers what monument-making can reveal about the human condition today and how creative legacy projects and public spaces can illuminate our past while inspiring new futures. Together, we will explore the ways in which artists help to foster spaces and rituals of belonging, learning, and healing; playing an essential role in sustaining our democracy.
