McNeil, Jr., Senior Curator of American Art, for a panel discussion about WHYY's acclaimed podcast, The Statue. This six-episode podcast dives deep into the story of Rocky Balboa and the influence of the fictional boxer on millions of people from around the world. The panelists, including 3 podcast guests such as Mike Kunda, André Robert Lee, and Roz Pichardo, will discuss the stories behind the statue and the impact of public sculpture in the city of Philadelphia.
